As we celebrate National Family Caregivers Month in November, Senior LIFE recognizes the selfless, often unheralded, contributions of the many family members of our participants. It is easy to recognize and appreciate the role of the caregiver because we share that responsibility – and in many respects the journey – with you. Your work begins where ours ends, and the time, effort, and love that you put into keeping your loved ones safe in their homes both enables and inspires our team to provide the individualized care that completes the circle.
This month, the Caregivers Action Network is dedicated to creating awareness, educating, and providing valuable resources and support for those caring for an older family member through its Plug Into Care campaign. Here are some important tips to help caregivers:

Participants may be financially responsible for any services not authorized by Senior LIFE. The LIFE Program will be the participant’s sole service provider. The LIFE Program provides access to all services but cannot guarantee access to specific providers. In-network and out- of-network emergency services are covered by Senior LIFE. Senior LIFE is a voluntary program. Participants may disenroll at any time. All services, with the exception of emergency care, must be preapproved by the interdisciplinary team. All other services approved by the interdisciplinary team are provided and/or coordinated by Senior LIFE.
